What information do we collect and how do we use it?

In-App Purchase

If you purchase the In-App transcribe credit points via the App Store, Apple will collect any necessary information from you and handle it themselves.  Apple do not share any information with us regarding Apple IDs or individual purchases and transactions.

[A special note about our app Trans Recorder - Your audio and transcripts are never uploaded to our servers.   Your recordings are saved locally on your device.  Any transcribed text is also stored locally on your device.   We use Rev.ai Speech-to-Text transcribe service to perform the transcription for English, and use Xunfei transcribe service to perform the transcription for Chinese. The audio may be uploaded to Rev.ai’s servers or Xunfei’s servers for processing.  You can read about Rev.ai’s security here.  You can read about Xunfei’s security here ].

App support

Trans Recorder uses e-mail to send feedback or bug report to our support team. We will never use information gathered via the feedback e-mail to do anything other than respond to your query.
